Stiff-legged deadlift, no belt.

Close grip pull-up’s. Body weight (178.5 today)

I have eschewed what is commonly called either Assistance Work or Accessory Work. I find them pointless and all they seem to do is increase the risk of injury. In fact, by changing the name to Pointless Shit that Increases Risk of Injury, it becomes a very simple decision to make after completing my main work of the day. “Should I do some Assistance or Accessory work?” can fill one with angst and indecision, however “Should I do some Pointless Shit that Increases Risk of Injury?” is a question more easily answered.
However, I had a long Saturday ahead with no plans so I wasn’t in a hurry to get out of the gym. I did a few sets of Hammer Curls and some Decline Sit Up’s.
